Allthough it must have been the record
wind for my operations with Explorer hovercraft we did it anyway.
Some relatives had come a long way to visit us and we kind had to give them a ride. Everything went smoothly, engine ran all the time without any problems. After four on board during demonstration we went a little bit further to more open waters with two on board and had a pleasant ride even with wind at constant 11m/s (24mph). Speed to head wind wasn't that great but still we could see we were moving about 10-15km/h. And tail wind then, i had to open bow ports all the time to keep the speed within reason. I guess when we finally have moderate wind or no wind at all weather i can do pretty much everything there is that can be done with this machine as i have practiced in windy conditions. Luckily we all were so busy enjoying the ride that no-one
had time (or interest) to use cam-recorder or camera. So no pics or video
this time.
