Skirt and hull fix

Last Wednesday and Thursday we were finishing the fixing of my Explorer after collision with chunk of ice.

Weather was still favorable to us and all though we only had few hours to work with it during the evening we managed to bolt everything back on, including new HDPE landing pads to front also.

We also prepared everything for skirt trim to be taken place at Saturday 30th of March. We lowered the hovercraft to it's planned hoverheigth and checked that skirt was not tucked between skids and supports.

On Saturday then weather was cloudy and almost rainy. But we had everything prepared so we could go right ahead and start the engine and do the trim. I did check if the hull was still at correct height because it was resting on tyres and sun had been shining.

There wasn't much trimming to do. Only new section of the partition skirt had to be trimmed as i had left it intentionally tall. After trimming we saw that trim line was exactly were drawing patterns said it would be.

But bow skirt seems to be trimmed too high. All though i tried to do the trimming conservatively while doing it back in August. I'll see how the patch holds and if it works i may just add a small slice of skirt material to bow skirt to fix it.

Submit your vote wheather i've trimmed the bow skirt too much or not !
