Ordered new electronic ignition that replaces breaker points, but still waiting that to be delivered.
 
I tried to bent bows for soft top last weekend, but ended up with breaking other one of those expensive aluminium tubes while trying to bend larger radius curve than i had tools for. Local marine store had sold all of their anodized 20mm AL and they are not going to get new shipping until next spring. So i had the broken tube TIG welded just to get some sort of frames for the top to begin with.
 
Plan is to install new thrust shaft and belts this evening if it doesn't get too dark before we can get to hoverport. That way only thing left is to replace breaker point as soon as electronic unit arrives. and to start testing. It has again been almost a month since last hovering so i'd really like to get out there.
Also plan is to make first holes for soft top hardware and maybe have my Explorer covered within two weeks or so.
